Who We Are
Cascade Collie Rescue was established by individuals who have had experience with the rescue of Collies from rescues involving large numbers of dogs. Through our experiences with these rescues and the knowledgeable people who facilitated them, we were encouraged to establish a legal, non-profit purebred Collie rescue in the state of Oregon. The founders have experience with dogs of several breeds and with the more holistic veterinary care and positive reinforcement training that promotes an all around healthier and happier Collie. All rescued Collies will receive whatever veterinary care, treatment and grooming necessary for the well-being of that individual dog. All Collies released from rescue will be spayed or neutered before going to their new homes. The recent changes in vaccination protocol and the studies now available concerning the sensitivity of some Collies to vaccinations, mean that not all Collies will be given vaccinations or medications. Veterinary treatment will vary with each individual Collie.
We are a Non-Profit Organization and can operate only through donations of generous people. A donation in any amount makes a difference for a homeless Collie. To make a donation, simply click on the Donate Button on the right. If you prefer to mail a check, please send it to:
Cascade Collie Rescue, P.O. Box 908, Estacada, OR 97023.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Although we do not have available Collies at all times, we do a lot of networking. If you are interested in adopting a Collie, please complete our Adoption Application and we can help match you up with a Collie as soon as the best suited Collie becomes available.

"I wonder if it is heretical to believe that when at last my tired feet shall tread the Other Shore, a madly welcoming swirl of collies will bound forward, circling and barking around me, to lead me Home!"
- Albert Payson Terhune
